Meet the Staff
At Aledo Soccer Club, our coaching team represents a unique blend of global experience, local passion, and a shared belief that soccer is more than just a game — it’s a tool for growth. From international players to homegrown mentors, each coach brings a professional background and a heart for teaching. Together, they create an environment where every child can learn, compete, and belong. Our mission is simple: to build confident players and even stronger people — one session, one touch, and one conversation at a time.
Denin Spriggs brings an impressive blend of international playing experience and growing coaching expertise to Aledo Soccer Club. Born and raised in South Africa, Denin’s career took him across the globe — from England and France to Spain and Lithuania, ending up in Latvia with FK Auda and finally settling the U.S. He captained multiple teams, earned professional trials abroad, and helped lead Murray State College to its first-ever NJCAA regional title. Holding a USSF D-Level Badge and French FA U13 licenses, Denin is passionate about helping players grow technically and personally through high-energy, professional coaching.
Coach Ruben Tejeda brings professional experience and proven player-development leadership to Aledo Soccer Club. Originally from Colombia, Ruben played in the Colombian Second Division, Johnson & Wales University, and in U.S. semi-pro leagues including the NPSL and UPSL. With coaching experience at Solar SC and Sting SC, Ruben now leads multiple ASC boys teams. His sessions emphasize technical excellence, tactical awareness, and a love for the game.
Coach Thomas Kerr combines science, skill, and passion from Scotland to Texas. A graduated player from Texas Wesleyan University and former Scottish National Team representative, he holds qualifications in Exercise & Fitness Leadership and Coaching Principles. Thomas leads multiple ASC teams and Frontrunner Fieldhouse programs, including Adaptive PE, and Pro Fusion (privite elite training sessions).
Coach Axel Tonietto brings passion and precision from Brazil’s soccer culture to Aledo Soccer Club. A standout goalkeeper for Texas Wesleyan University, Axel grew up playing for Brazilian professional academies before moving to the U.S. He specializes in goalkeeper development and supports technical growth across all ASC age groups with calm leadership and energy.
