Parent & Player Handbook

Everything in one place: club values, player expectations, safety standards, weather policies, and who to contact for what.

Uniform Guide

What to order, how to size, and what to bring on training and game days.

  • Required Kit: Jersey, shorts, socks, shin guards, flat/futsal shoes for indoor.
  • Optional: Tracksuit, training top, backpack, cold-weather base layers.
  • Game Day: Water, shin guards, ball (labeled), light/dark jersey if applicable.

Communication Policy

Clear, constructive communication helps players thrive and coaches coach.

How We Communicate
  • TeamSnap - Schedules, roster notes, and quick updates.
  • Email - Club-wide info, invoices, receipts, and policy updates.
  • On-Site - Game-day changes and safety notices.
24-Hour Rule & Boundaries
Please respect a 24-hour cool-off window after games for non-safety concerns. Game-time coaching decisions are not debated during training or matches. This protects everyone's energy and keeps focus on player development.
Zero Tolerance & Sideline Behavior
Disrespectful language, threats, and interference with officials or players are not tolerated. Safety first, respect always. Repeated violations may result in removal from club activities.

TeamSnap Tips

  • Availability: Set it weekly so coaches can plan balanced sessions.
  • Notifications: Enable push + email for last-minute changes.
  • Calendar Sync: Subscribe to your team calendar on your phone.
  • Chat: Use team chat for logistics only. No player-specific feedback threads.

Camps & Clinics - Why No Refunds?

Camps and clinics are final sale once registration closes. Here's why:

  • Shirts/Uniforms: Customized and ordered before camp starts - cannot be returned.
  • Field Time: We rent facilities based on headcount and pay in advance.
  • Coach Scheduling: We hire and pay coaches based on registered participants.
  • Supplies & Equipment: Balls, cones, goals, and materials purchased per-camper.
  • Insurance: Each registered player is insured - these fees are non-recoverable.

When you cancel, we've already spent the money. Refunding you means the club operates at a loss.

Seasonal Programs
Refunds are generally not issued after team placement. We may consider documented medical reasons (doctor's note required) or family relocation (proof of move required). Credit toward future seasons may be offered at the club's discretion.
Weather Cancellations
We follow a "make-up where possible" approach. Indoor alternatives or extended sessions may be scheduled. Weather cancellations are not grounds for refunds - coaches are still paid, facilities still reserved.
Scholarship Families
Scholarship recipients agree to attendance and communication standards. Failure to attend without notice may result in scholarship revocation and ineligibility for future assistance.
"My Child Changed Their Mind"

We understand kids can be unpredictable. However, a change of heart is not a valid reason for a refund once registration closes. We encourage families to discuss commitment with their child before registering.

Consider this: every spot your child takes is a spot another child cannot have. When you cancel last-minute, that spot often goes unfilled while we've already paid for it.

We're a nonprofit. Every dollar goes to fields, coaches, equipment, and scholarships - not profit margins. When you register, you're committing. Please register thoughtfully.
