About the Program

Every Great Player Starts Here

Little Aledos is where the soccer journey begins. Designed for children ages 4–6, this play-based program introduces young kids to the game through fun, movement, and positive experiences.

Every session is designed to build coordination, confidence, and a love for being active. Our professional coaches create an environment where kids want to come back — where they're excited to play, learn, and grow alongside their friends.

There's no pressure, no competition stress, and no travel. Just your child having a blast, building fundamental movement skills, and discovering what makes soccer the beautiful game. Sessions include fun activities, guided play, and in-house scrimmages, all ending with a season celebration.

What Makes It Special

Built for Young Explorers

Every detail is designed for ages 4–6. Fun first, development always.

Play-Based Learning

Every session is built around fun. Games, challenges, and activities that develop skills without kids even realizing they're learning.

Professional Coaches

Led by Coach Steve Bohanan and staff who specialize in early childhood soccer development. Patient, encouraging, and skilled at this age group.

Movement Skills

Running, jumping, balancing, coordination — fundamental movement skills that benefit kids far beyond soccer.

In-House Scrimmages

Fun, low-pressure mini-games where kids experience the joy of playing together. No scores, no standings — just play.

Season Celebration

Every session ends with an end-of-season party. Medals, photos, and a celebration of everything your little one accomplished.

Pathway Forward

When your child is ready, Pre-Academy is the natural next step. Little Aledos builds the foundation for everything that comes after.

Little Aledos FAQ

Common Questions

Absolutely. Little Aledos is specifically designed for beginners. Most of our kids have never touched a soccer ball before their first session. Our coaches are experienced at making every child feel welcome, confident, and excited regardless of skill level.
The Summer Series is up next — 8 weeks running June 2 – July 31, 2026, with no session over 4th of July weekend. Tuesday outdoor training in Aledo + Friday indoor game days at Frontrunner Fieldhouse (where it stays nice and cool). Little Aledos continues with a 10-week Fall 2026 program and a 10-week Spring 2027 program. Join us this summer and stay connected for fall and spring.
Parents are welcome (and encouraged!) to watch from the sideline. For the youngest players (3–4), having a parent nearby can help with comfort, especially in the first few sessions. Our coaches will guide parents on when to step back as kids gain confidence.
Comfortable athletic clothing, shin guards, and cleats or athletic shoes (indoor shoes for FRFH Fridays). Bring a water bottle. We provide all soccer balls and training equipment.
